ICIO South Sudan is committed to providing essential services including education, health, WASH, gender, and youth services to communities across South Sudan. Currently most of our projects are in Eastern Equatoria region, we shall soon expand our essential services to the other parts of the country.

Currently, the organization implement its activities within Eastern Equatoria State though mandated to operate nation-wide.
South Sudan still lacks behind compared to other African countries in terms of education, health, capacity building and youth empowerment. Only across Eastern Equatoria State, 6 in every 10 households experiences shockingly high rates of hunger, waterborne related diseases, school dropouts, and teenage pregnancy.
We leverage scientific frameworks, theories, and models to implement community projects, with a strong emphasis on conducting a comprehensive assessment of community needs using Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA).
Through active engagement with stakeholders and gathering feedback from community members, we ensure that our projects are aligned with beneficiaries’ needs and expectations, while also meeting the requirements of our donors. Our adherence to well-defined principles and policies serve as the cornerstone for effectively managing human resources, finance, logistics, and procurement. Additionally, we closely follow the standard operating procedures, guidelines, recommendations, and policies outlined by line ministries. We deeply value the expertise and dedication of our technical team, which includes both experienced professionals and passionate volunteers.
